Anna brought her kids and sister, Angie, for an updated family session. I loved to see how close Anna and Angie are and hope the same for my sister and I as well grow. family portrait

Abandonment {Michiana Fine Art Photographer}

What an adventure it is wandering through these abandoned buildings! I walk in with one question: what was this building used for? And I leave each building with a lot more questions than I do answers.

For example, please explain this: I find it very creepy and artistic at the same time. urban decay photography Pile upon piles of clothes...frozen by rain and cold winter weather:

I will spare you the details but they include climbing out of 3rd story windows, fire escapes with rotting and missing steps and roofs with holes and deteriorating wood. However when you get THE shot, it makes it all worth it. urban decay photography urban decay photography

Ok Girls, mark your calender for March 1st and 2nd for the Expo for Women! After talking to some of the vendors, I am very excited for the festivities and people who will be there. Everyone involved in making this event happen are very committed to making it a fun, educational and empowering event for women. There is going to be seminars, demonstrations, dancing, music, shopping and 2 full days of free health screenings! This is something put on by women, FOR women and I am thrilled to be involved. I will have a booth and will be around photographing the event so be sure to stop by and say hi when you there! If you would like more info about the event, check here.
